Dyeysil The Amazing

This post is for my sister Angel who fixed my multiply site.

I messed up the CSS code my site. Then I tried to fix it but I was hopeless. And Angel comes to the rescue! In 30 minutes, she has a new design for me. Although she suggested to me to make a new header. Para iba naman daw.

Ayun.

The header has an excerpt of a poem by Luis Garcia Montero. I copied it from the Instituto Cervantes ad in the LRT. Inspiring I say.

I was suppose to post an entry I wrote in a notebook and pen. Hahaha. But then a tank attacked Manila Pen then everyone was crying because of the tear gas. In other words, nawalan ako ng gana.

Salamat Dyeysil!

Save!

Go flexibility. Hahaha.

Hahaha.

Oh, to be really young... /buntong hininga/

Manong forwarded me this link from Neil Gaiman's Official LJ community:

One of the best proposals ever...
Read the guy's entry first. Really awesome.

Forget sunsets. Forget romantic candle-lit dinners. Forget ring at the bottom of the girl's champagne. Forget ring inside the cake (I find this one disgusting!).

Get Neil Gaiman to propose for you!

P.S. I get all wooby-wooby inside when ever I see "Your boyfriend" in my Multiply Network. Hahaha! Girly-girl moments followed by a quick cringe.

Wala lang.

Use
your hair for a good cause! Greenpeace Philippines, in association with
a number of local salons and barber shops, is collecting hair to help
clean up the Guimaras oil spill.

A gallon of oil will adhere to
a little more than a pound of hair in just two minutes. The best part
is, the hair can be wrung out and reused.

Here's a CNN story on
Phil McCrory, an ingenuous US hairdresser who came up with the
solution. TV Patrol ran a similar feature on local efforts that use
collected human hair to respond to the recent marine catastrophe.

Here's how you can pitch in:
1) GET YOUR HAIR CUT! All branches of Reyes Haircutters and Azta Urban Salon
(there's one on Katipunan and on Metrowalk) are collection centers for
the Greenpeace hair drive, so it might be more convenient if you get
your hair done at those places.

2) Go to your neighborhood barber or hairdresser and inform them of the campaign. They can bring their hair leftovers to any Reyes Haircutters or Azta branches. OR you can take the initiative and bring them there yourself.

Here's the contact info:
Reyes Haircutters main branch (Anonas) - 913 6250 (look for Alex)
Azta Urban Salon Katipunan - 928 4208 (open from 10am-10pm Mondays to Sundays.)
